Lynn Robichaux, owner of The Empty Nest, has lived in Webster Groves since the age of ten, and had always wanted to own her own shop. Her experience as a sales rep selling to gift stores gave her the unique opportunity to see many such stores and hand pick the types of services and merchandise she wanted to carry. When her last daughter was a senior in high school, on the brink of leaving the nest, Lynn jumped with both feet into making her long-time dream a reality. She envisioned a store where customers could find exactly the gift they needed for any occasion, in many price ranges, and where they could get in and out easily, leaving with their gift beautifully wrapped and ready to present.
While Lynn is waiting for the next stage of her life, which she hopes will include weddings and grandchildren, she can be found at The Empty Nest, and hopes you will visit the store when in St. Louis.

Believing in always making the most of whatever life hands you, Lynn decided to make the most of the present, and instead of worrying about and missing her children, she immersed herself in her new endeavor. The Empty Nest also has a great selection of accessories for the home, such as lamps, rugs, photo frames, and “accent” furniture. After two specialty children’s clothing stores closed in the St. Louis area, Lynn decided to add an area devoted to children’s clothing and accessories. In an age where it is difficult to find clothing which makes children look like children, The Empty Nest specializes in well-made, classic clothing like the clothes she dressed her children in when they were young. The Empty Nest also carries a wide selection of gifts for weddings, bridal and baby showers, and bridesmaid gifts.
